PSYCHOCREATIVITY

6-DAY WORKSHOP PLAYSHOP

Led by Raphael Jay Adjani with Creative Associates

Every Child is Born an Artist

The Problem arises when we grow up

- Artist Pablo Picasso

PSYCHOCREATIVITY is a celebration of the SUBLIME and of the THE DELICIOUS DELIGHT OF LIVING.

Founded in Zen Meditation and Creative Practice including Sado, The Way of Tea, known in the West as The Japanese Tea Ceremony.

PSYCHOCREATIVITY integrates philospshy, art, dance, and contemporary science that empahsize “relational being” and psychotherapy based on the Biopsuchocail Model.

PSYCHOCREATIVITY is a systematic program that trains you to live your most authentic self in an impermanent, transient and imperfect world.

Once you have learned the system and methodogolgy, PSYCHOCREATIVITY can support you better being your own teacher: creatively surfing waves of life.

Taking place in the Ocean and Studio, Taking place in the Ocean and Studio, it is an exquisite blend of:

  • Dance

  • Visual Art

  • Therapeutic Yoga

  • Zen Playfulness

  • Play Therapy

  • Meditations spanning breath, body, nature

  • Embracing Japanese Shinto harmony with the natural world

  • Engaging with Contemporary Science, especially Deep Ecology that emphasize our profound inter-connection with all things

  • Space of Connection, Engagement, Belonging and Play

  • Synthesis of creative development, healing, and meditative training.

  • Cultivating connection with spirits of land, sea and air, wherever it is located.

  • Symbiosis of movement, stillness, pleasure, pain, sound, silence, wonder, awe.

  • Open to anyone ready to cultivate their inherent creativity

Open to All,

Especially open to Creatives such as Artists, Dancers, Actors, Photographers, Filmmakers, Writers, Musicians and Designers

I am not interested in how the dancer moves

but what moves the body

Rediscover and Enhance your Playful Child through

Meditation, Art, Dance and Connection to the Environment

- Raphael Jay Adjani, adapting words of the pioneering choreographer Pina Bausch

The artist Pablo Picasso believed that we are inherently creative but most of us lose it in the process of growing up and adjusting to the requirements of society and the economy

PSYCHOCREATIVITY enables adults to refine their creative child, enhance existing creativity, and bring creativty to daily life experience.

Raphael has a way of immediately making people

feel at ease with the present.

Feelings and thoughts are validated in that moment.

This made it possible for

communication and engagement to flow.

The students valued

Raphael's demystification of quite complex philosophical ideas.

They were able to examine their everyday experiences and

appreciate the art of simplicity and conviviality

in a present and authentic way.

SUBLIME MEDITATION

5-DAY PARTIALLY SILENT RETREAT

Led by Raphael Jay Adjani in collaboration with Thai Therapeutic Massage Exponent Wilaiwan Phimkhalee

Deepest gratitudes for Raphael

and the Sublime Meditation journey

he has so gently walked along side me on.

I’m taking so many things from our five days together.

One of which is

a rediscovery of a deep love for the ocean and it’s therapeutic qualities.

A core question that reverberates in my heart has been

‘what do I most deeply need?’

- something which I realised I rarely asked myself.

But after tuning into that question over the last five days more intimately

it has become a gateway to

a greater capacity for self care, compassion and love for myself

and subsequently to extend that to others.

Beginning each day on the ocean meditation, dancing and moving,

celebrating the elements and welcoming in the day

is a practice I will take with me on my journey.

I’m feeling connected to my heart in a soft gentle and open way,

i can feel my inner child smiling with me,

I’m feeling inspired creatively and also

how I hold space and ‘teach’ others on their journey.

Most of all I feel this new capacity inside of me to

truly savour each delicious moment as it arises and passes away.

Thank you Raphael:

you’ve truly opened me up to the delicious delight that is living.

🙏🏼

SUBLIME MEDITATION focuses primarily on:

  • Buddhist Philosophy and Practice:

    • Sati which is translate in the West as Mindfulness

    • Metta which is translated in the West as Befriending or Loving-Kindness

    • Pratitiyasamudpa which can be understood as the dynamic inter-connection of all things)

  • Yogic Practice and Philosophy as outlined in the great Indian text The Bhagavad Gita, which emphasis

living true to our “sacred vocation”, our Dharma, and focused action - Karma Yoga toward this.

  • MIND FLOW YOGA

  • Yoga Nidra

  • Yin Yoga

  • Massage as Meditation and Therapy: drawing on Indian Head and Facial Massage, Thai Therapeutic Massage

Raphael is a great role model and a wonderful teacher.

In their sessions they showed me that everything I need

    is already within me and

how important it is to live out the quality of being a child in my adult life.

In their meditations they inspired me to connect more with nature and

to dance & play more with life.

I hope that their messages will reach more people.

It was an honor to learn from them

- Jessi, Breathwork Teacher, Florida, USA

This is 5 day intensive version of the 10 week online course that as a Certified Teacher, I teach for the CMSC Center for Mindful Self-Compassion (USA)

MINDFUL SELF-COMPASSION 5-Day Intensive is taught either in-person or online.

MINDFUL SELF-COMPASSION 5-Day Intensive is a Life Development course that is based on around 40 meditative practices, reflective exercises and other actiivty.

This scienficially evidencesd tool kit:

  • Resources you to achieving goals based on your deepest universals needs and your personal core values

  • Enables you to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and an inner critic

  • Helps you to live the most satisfying fulfilled life

MINDFUL SELF-COMPASSION 5-Day Intensive is a secular course that 3 key component of Buddhist Philosophy and practice:-

  • Sati: an ancient Indian practice which can be translated as “lucid awareness of present happenings”; and commonly as Mindfulness.

  • Metta: ancient Indian practice of cultivating “Friendliness” to one self and all beings. Research shows many find such self-kindness hard. Metta cultivates healing & life-long warm self-parenting.

  • Common Humanity practice: evolving understanding of the inter-relationship of human beings. It moves us beyond self-criticism and self-isolation in challenging situations. Raphael expands this to awakening to Deep Ecology, and the Buddhist concept of Inter-relational Origination: the inter-relationship of all phenomena. This moves us beyond a singular ego mind toward understanding of Relational Being:the community and equity of all beings”.

Successful Completion of the Intensive provides you with a valid Certificate of Completion that is a prerequisite of Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher Training

I thank you for being a great guide for me and my Mindful Self-Compassion journey.

This is the first international class I have participated in in my life,

so mixed with excitement, there were also fears.

In addition to the inherent fears

- like fear of speaking, fear of being judged -

in this class I also have an additional fear of English hahaha.

I was afraid that with my basic English,

I would not understand what the teacher and classmates are saying, and vice versa,

“Will everyone understand what I say?”

And luckily I could still understand what I needed.

And you also understood the short sentences I shared.

The experience of studying with you made me feel supported,

because you did not laugh or judge, and

you gave everyone a turn to speak fairly.

You always leave positive comments after people speak.

And especially, you always find a way.

In advance of the retreat session, I asked to be off because my child was sick,

but you still happily told me I could attend late or leave class early,

staying as long as I could.

This showed me your dedication,

and your ability to create opportunities for me.

So, during the next week,

while there were times when I felt scared and didn't dare go to the upcoming class,

but thinking more about this,

I courageously went to class.

Although I haven't mastered self-compassion much yet,

I know how to start, remind myself,

and will definitely practice more in the future.

I thank you for being a great guide for me and my class's journey

PINK MEDITATION is a transformative one-day online retreat dedicated to supporting the mental well-being and inner exploration of LGBTQ+ individuals.

With mental health challenges disproportionately impacting LGBTQ+ people - rates of mental ill health can reach 3 times the level of the general population.

This retreat offers a healing space to explore identity, self-acceptance, and meaningful connection.

A SPACE FOR HEALING AND CONNECTION

PINK MEDITATION creates an inclusive environment where participants can deeply engage with themselves and one another around the intersecting identities of sexuality, gender, and race. This mini-retreat emphasizes Mindfulness and Compassion-Focused Practice, aiming to cultivate resilience and foster a sense of belonging within a world that can often feel isolating.

WHY MINDFULNESS AND COMPASSION-FOCUSED PRACTICE

Mindfulness, the practice of non-judgmental awareness of our experiences, and Compassion-Focused Practice, which nurtures self-kindness and resilience, are powerful tools for mental health. Research has shown that self-compassion can lead to greater well-being, better relationships, and improved physical health, especially for those in marginalized communities like LGBTQ+ and POC.

INTERACTIVE NON-SILENT EXPERIENCE

Unlike silent retreats, PINK MEDITATION is dynamic, offering guided practices, group discussions, and breakout spaces for focused reflection and sharing. Through mindful inquiry and compassionate reflection, participants will explore patterns, confront biases, and deepen their connection with themselves and others.

EXPLORING THE ART OF BELONGING

At its heart, PINK MEDITATION addresses the universal desire for belonging, supporting participants in navigating isolation and embracing connection. Together, we’ll honor our shared histories, celebrate diverse narratives, and deepen our practices of presence, healing, and empowerment.

WHO IS PINK MEDITATION FOR

This retreat is open to LGBTQ+ individuals with at least a basic familiarity with mindfulness practice and resonates with those seeking a greater sense of belonging, community, and purpose. It’s a sanctuary for meaningful connection, inner growth, and shared exploration.
