WATER THERAPY is inter-disciplinary.

it is s process of Psychosomatic Medicine, understanding the profound inter-relationship of body, brain, mind, the social and natural worlds.

Focusing on immersion in water it is infused with my other therapeutic methodologies such as:-

  • Ecotherapy

  • Play, Dance and Art Therapies

  • Breath work, Therapeutic Massage, and deeper Yogic Process

  • Buddhist Psychology, incorporating Mindfulness and Compassion-focused Meditation, and the  concept of the profound Inter-Relationship of all Things

In addition to fostering more widely documented ecological, economic, and cultural diversities, our mental well-being, emotional diversity, and resiliency also rely on the global ecological integrity of our waters - marine biologist Wallace J. WATER THERAPY is a deep ecological process, influenced by concepts and practices of my personalized mentoring program, SUBLIME LIVING.

SUBLIME LIVING and WATER THERAPY are both meeting grounds of Science, Art, Philosophy and Psychology.

We know from the research of marine biologist Wallace J. Nichols that being in water or in the vicinity of water can produce mildly meditative states. Nichols explains also that the color Blue is the one most associated around the world with peacefulness and tranqulity. He calls this Blue Mindfulness or Blue Mind.

This is why I love to undertake WATER THERAPY in the Ocean underneath a sunny blue sky. This particular connection with Nature, impacts profoundly on the therapeutic process..

WATER THERAPY can be as simple as talking therapy in water or by water. We know from research that water can produce mildly meditative restive and restorative states. This can be a tremendous foundation for a talk therapy process to go do more deeply into what ever challenge you are facing.

Taking this therapeutic process further I integrate the meditative practice of Mindfulness Sati, and Loving-Kindness towards oneself, Metta. This is why I call the meditative process Blue Kindfulness or BLUE KIND.

BLUE KIND is not only a therapeutic meditative process; it describes our basic condItion. We originated in Water. Our bodies are mostly Water. More than a human kind we are a BLUE KIND.

The practice and being of BLUE KIND is at the heart of my WATER THERAPY. It is profoundly healing and restorative. it engenders existential insight.
